I don’t know if you noticed in the previous post, the little white dog sitting between the couches. That’s Bailey! We adopted her a little over a week ago and we love her to pieces. She is a four year old, American Eskimo.
American Eskimos come in three sizes, (like poodles) standard, miniature, and toy. Bailey is the miniature size. The breed is known for its high intelligence and obedience. Many are used in agility competitions and were some of the first dogs used for performance acts in traveling circuses. (In fact the first dog to walk a tight-rope was an American Eskimo!) They are great guard dogs, but easily warm up to people once introduced by their owners. They love the snow, bonus for living in Wisconsin. Bailey and Packer get along great together and we all feel like we have our own version of a family going on over here. :)
